My name is Sondra M. Gesselle. I believe that to touch is to heal and massage is great at reaching beyond the physical helping us also heal the emotional and spiritual wounds. As a massage therapist I do not do the healing, my role is to help ease your body into a state where the body can begin to heal itself; just as the gardener doesn’t do the growing but readies the soil for growing crops. During our interview before beginning the session, I will ask a series of questions to help determine what type of bodywork will be most beneficial to you. I enjoy intermixing modalities and to create a session tailored to your specific needs. Not all massage therapies will work for every condition but I believe there is a type of bodywork that will help everyone and every condition.
Here are some of my credentials:
* I am a Nationally Certified Licensed Massage Therapist and Master Bodyworker.
* I have been a Member of the American Massage Therapy Association since 2007.
* In December 2007 I graduated with honors from the Master Body worker Program at the Utah College of Massage Therapy.
* October 2007 I graduated with honors from the Professional Massage Therapy program which included accelerated study and clinical internship. My training includes a variety of modalities.
* I was blessed with the opportunity to be an Instructor’s assistant for Anatomy 1& 2, Injury Massage, and Pathology 1; as well as a tutor in Anatomy 1, 2, & 3.
*I have enjoyed participating in several volunteer projects, which allowed me to share the benefits of massage with others in the community.
* I began working full time at the Grand Geneva Well Spa in Lake Geneva, WI as a Massage therapist in Jan. 2008, currently I work there on the weekends so I have time to focus on my own clientele.
Please let me help you begin your journey to wellness today.
